Why I Don't Participate
In Large Demonstrations or Marches

The three reasons why I don't participate In large demonstrations, marches or protests:

1. I usually cannot find out who the very top person is who is giving the 'orders' or making the final decisions for the march or protest. That makes me uncomfortable when I don't know who that is.

2.There is a story that says that when Mother Teresa was asked if she would demonstrate against the Vietnam war, she answered, "No". But I will march for peace. I do not want to ever march against something. I don't feel good marching against something or someone. I to would prefer to stand for something.

3. I cannot trust that the strangers that I meet at a large gathering all have the same agenda that I do.
